The Messermeister 400/1000 combination stone has been designed as an economical solution for traditional Eastern sharpening and maintenance of fine knives. The 400 grit side will correct slight edge flaws and the 1000 grit side is excellent for both finishing and maintenance. Silicone base for slip-free sharpening.

The center of mass is located on the leading edge of the handle for optimal balance. The raised tang has a 5-degree camber for maximum ergonomic comfort and control. We also pushed the heal of the knife forward to keep the sharp bits away from your fingers.
